The HUB Mar 2015

Remember the trade show we mentioned we'd be going? Yep, we visited the Hub again in March, and spent some eventful 2 days exploring new brands, meeting like-minded fashion enthusiasts and having a great time in general! Like last year, we've chosen some of the brands we love or find intriguing to introduce you to!

Grayers

An Hong Kong-based American brand featuring vintage and country styles in classic pieces.

SAU
One of our long time favourite brands - consisting of elegant, feminine pieces with bold colours, accentuates and prints.

-

Maverick Twist
Technology meets footwear in The Epic Project's shoes line.

(Left top) Calf leather shoes made to imitate snakeskin with technology.
(Right top) English tweed shoe.
(Left bottom) Sneaker with brogues made with Nike technology.
(Right bottom) Shoe with fluorescence effect that glows under special lighting used in bars.

-

MOSES
Vibrantly coloured rubber shoes that are super comfy and smell like milk & honey.

-

Inspiration does strike at the most unexpected moments, as seen from Loom Loop designer Polly's source of inspiration. Her idea of putting crabs and sushi in her design came when she was watching an alien movie while having sushi - who said eating doesn't help with work hmm?

Classic English shoes brand that prides on their incredible craftsmanship.

-

 Fox Umbrellas
Customized umbrellas.

-

AVGVS
Quality Australian brand with a designer who loves incorporating snake elements into their designs and prints.

-

Tom Smarte
The modern continuation of the classic English hats brands, with whom its founding family and subsequent generations boast decades of heritage and tradition.

The Polo Club

We’re so excited to tell you guys about this new blazer. Supposedly, Buzz can never buy Brooks Brothers since he’s has a super tiny built, but this blazer fits him perfectly. You know why? It’s because it's from Brooks Brothers kids.

The navy country club jacket is one of the most classic pieces for American gents which you can always find them in the American labels such as Ralph Lauren and Brooks Brothers. It’s like the all-time classics which we suppose every mature gentleman should own one.

However, as mentioned before, this is a jacket for kids. Kids grow really fast from 12-18, so obviously this blazer won’t last long in their wardrobe. Hence, what better way to appreciate the fine Loro Piana fabric that was used to make the blazer than to have Buzz don it?

On another note, Buzz will be heading to a fashion tradeshow tomorrow, so wish him luck!

Buzz is wearing the Vegas Shirt from Milk Shirts, country club blazer from Brooks brothers, Gap chinos, Church’s loafers. Accessories including a gold lapel chain, pocket square from Milk Shirts, a pair of clear acetate sunglasses made in Japan. Photos by Christopher the director, Styling and Editing by Buzz.

Can you tell that this is Hong Kong?

London Fashion Week AW15

Haven’t seen you guys for so long, we’ve been really busy throughout these days. Mocks are killing us, also we gotta start working on our public exams and finalize some uni stuff. Anyway, a really, really late update on the London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2015. We’re not gonna talk much about it since we weren’t there. Still, we are so grateful that our lovely photographer, Noor (Check out her Instagram! She has pretty nice photos), has taken piles of photographs in the TOGA and Mulberry Event. Take a look at the photos below. You may get some inspiration of the coming season. Get ready for your wardrobe!

By the way, Buzz is so excited in showing you guys his new blazer (It’s already been exposed on Instagram). So, no more Monday post for this week. Remember to check out our new post tomorrow!

:D Love y’all!!! <3
